The Ashwaubenon Alumni Association is pleased to announce the awarding of its 2022 Community Service Scholarship to two recipients this year: Ashwaubenon High School seniors Asra Azad and Hannah Thiry.
Both Azad and Thiry demonstrated strong records of volunteer service in the community, shared how that service made an important impact on themselves and society, and expressed how they planned to continue their volunteerism in the future. Azad and Thiry were each awarded $1,000 Alumni Association scholarships. ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP The Ashwaubenon Alumni Association Community Service Scholarship is available to an Ashwaubenon High School Senior enrolled at Ashwaubenon High School not less than two semesters prior to graduation, is eligible to receive a diploma, has achieved an academic record that represents the student's maximum effort, and is pursuing some form of post-secondary education. Desirable personal character, demonstrated leadership and pride in community, strong work ethic, and proven commitment of service to school and/or community is an important criterion. Preference will be given to service completed within the Village of Ashwaubenon and to those involved in a variety of services benefitting the community.
